Ken Wojnarowski, Associate Pastor
Rev. Kenith Alan Wojnarowski was born in Orland Park, IL in February of 1991. Ken is a graduate of Trinity Christian College with a BA in Theology and a minor in Criminal Justice. He married Sarah Hansen in June of 2018. Their daughter, Sadie, was born in January of 2023. Their son John was born in July of 2024.
Ken began working in ministry at Camp Manitoqua and Retreat Center in Frankfort, IL in 2010. Ken started serving as a youth director for First Church (PCA) in 2013. In 2016, Ken transitioned out of camping ministry to working as the Administrator of First Church (PCA) in 2016. Ken graduated from Mid-America Reformed Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in 2023. He then accepted a call to be the Assistant Pastor of First Church (PCA) in Lansing, IL following his graduation. After completing the process of licensure in 2023, Ken was ordained in 2024 and served there through November of 2025.
Ken is thankful for the many gospel influences in his life and he is thankful for the care of his parents, family, and extended family. Above all, he is especially thankful for the unwavering support from his wife, Sarah, as he couldn’t have completed seminary without her support. Ken is also thankful for Dr. Alan Strange, the professors, and the staff of Mid-America Reformed Seminary; for his brother, Rev. Jim Hollendoner, who encouraged him in his studies; for Rev. Dr. Kurt Kruger who encouraged him to attend seminary; and finally for Rev. Dr. Ben Kappers, who mentored Ken over many years, and still models faithful Pastoral Ministry today.
Ken has a deep love for the Bible, and while there have been many verses that have aided him in his journey to this moment, Isaiah 43 has been a constant for him: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.”
